Majority of men think that skincare is a feminine activity which is not like them because of their gruff and tough attitude. If you think the same way these guys do about skincare, you’re dead wrong; Keeping a skincare routine should be a priority for everyone, especially during the summer when you have to be a little extra careful if you want to look good. Intense light, dirt and dust can degrade your skin‘s texture and cause unwanted side effects.
To increase one’s beauty and charisma, one should make time for a skin care regimen outside of one’s busy schedule.
Wash your face daily, especially after exercise. Wash your face with a mild facial cleanser and warm (not hot) water instead of conventional bar soap, which often contains harsh substances that can damage the skin.
Drink lots of water and eat different fruits and vegetables. It helps in the absorption of antioxidants and the protection of collagen from the elements. It’s impossible to overstate the importance of moisture for beautiful skin. Water is necessary for survival and your body needs plenty of it.
Exfoliation – Excess oil can build up on the surface of your skin over time, making it look shiny and, in some situations, making a rash worse. To help remove trapped dirt and dead skin cells, replace your daily cleanser with a gentle face scrub.
Keep an eye on your shaving technique. To soften your skin and hair before shaving, wet it. Shave with moisturizing shaving cream in the direction of hair growth. Rinse after every razor stroke to reduce irritation and change blades every five to seven shaves.
Hydrate daily. The moisturizer helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and makes your skin look brighter and younger looking by trapping water in your skin. Apply moisturizer to your face and body while your skin is still damp after bathing, showering, or shaving for the best benefits.
Always use sunscreen when outdoors. Apply sunscreen to all exposed areas of skin, including your scalp, ears, neck and lips, before going outside to help prevent UV damage that can lead to wrinkles, dark spots, old age and even skin cancer.
