Kerala moviegoers are well acquainted with Bollywood diva Yami Gautam who played the female lead opposite Prithviraj in the action thriller “Hero”. She has also appeared in Bollywood blockbusters like “Uri: The Surgical Strike” and “Vicky Donor”.

The actress recently shocked Garland City and her fans by opening up about her skin condition. In a social media post, Yami revealed that she suffers from keratosis pilaris. Yami, meanwhile, is earning applause from all over for showing the courage to open up about it, especially in an industry that forces people to hide their imperfections.

Yami wrote that she developed the skin condition as a teenager. She even posted a few “real” photos that aren’t air-powered. The actress said she finally found the courage to share the truth with her fans. It didn’t take long for the post and its photos to go viral. Later, in an interview with Midday, Yami said she felt relieved after talking about the skin condition she has suffered from for years.

Yami said she often hears people wondering how she manages to hide this condition by using make-up, while on set. In her Instagram post, Yami said, “I have been dealing with this for many years now and today at last I have decided to let go of all my fears and insecurities and have found the courage to love. and accept my faults. ” Meanwhile, Yami is surprised by all the positive reactions she has received after posting her photos. Keratosis pilaris is a skin condition characterized by tiny bumps on the skin.
