Healthpoint acquired by a Dutch company

Blackpool-based health and beauty supplier Healthpoint was acquired by Dayes BV of the Netherlands.

The company was founded in 1996 and since 2017 has been owned by Maven Capital Partners, which comes out with a return of 3.1x.

Healthpoint has grown into one of the largest providers of third-party branded health products in the UK, specializing in the growing “value” segment of the personal care and beauty market.

The company has also built its own portfolio of branded products, such as Derma V10 and Clear & Simple, which are sold through a range of well-known retailers including Poundland, Home Bargains, Savers, Superdrug and Bodycare.

Ryan Bevington, Partner at Maven, said: “Since Maven’s investment, Healthpoint has established its reputation as a leading supplier of third-party branded products to UK retailers.

“It has been great working with Amanda and her team over the past five years, who have achieved their goal of expanding Healthpoint’s customer base and product line. We look forward to seeing them continue this growth under a new owner. “
