Kali Soo’s specialty is to offer something different.
“A little eccentric and a lot of handsome,” was how a friend and local businessman put it when speaking with owner Carlee Rundell-Gordon this week.
The latest addition to the store includes a bundle of natural skin care and self-care products made locally by Sahrdaya Studio, by local entrepreneur Katelyn Wrigglesworth.
“When she showed me her range, I thought it really matched the vibe and ethos of the store,” said Ms Rundell-Gordon, who pointed out that the products are untested. on animals and are vegan and natural.
“ Being a businesswoman myself, I thought a collaboration with her would be perfect. ”
Ms Wrigglesworth will be at Kali Soo from 10am tomorrow to do product demonstrations, make recommendations and share some samples.
She’ll advise you which products are right for your skin type, and how to apply each, and encourages you to stop by and find some gift ideas for the holidays.
In addition to local products from Sahrdaya Studios, Kali Soo offers products from Bali, Nepal and Africa.
Some of the offerings include best-selling candles and essential oils, felt puppets, planters, lanterns, macrame wall hangings, and chairs.
Ms Rundell-Gordon said she has found many of her items to work perfectly for loved ones who are a little harder to buy from, or those who “seem to have it all.”
“We have a lot of stock coming up for Christmas, and there is a lot to choose from.”
Kali Soo will be offering extended shopping hours this evening, closing at 7 p.m.
