Colin King’s Moroccan rug collab, the prettiest pastel luggage and a former Domino Cover star’s new skincare brand

Our days are punctuated by scouting for new talent, attending market meet-ups and scrolling through Instagram to unearth the products, people and news you really need to know. Here’s what we slack off on this week.

Fully parqueted: Beni x Colin King rug

I spend a lot of my free time daydreaming about my next trip on the wish list, but between trips I’m always on the lookout for pieces that make me want to travel home. At this moment, this Spoken lines collecting Blessed Rugproduced in collaboration with Colin King, transports me to Europe. The line is inspired by the mosaic entryways and rustic palettes of Milan. Until I can hop on the next flight to Italy, I’m happy to settle for la dolce vita under my feet for now. —Raven McMillaneditorial assistant

Nobody Makes Patterns Like the British Nigerian Artist Yinka Ilori, which just has a way of pairing the craziest bright colors. And after his recent collaboration with Fit Flop, we can all bring its cheerful aesthetic to our range of summer shoes. I wear slides pretty much everywhere I go this time of year, which means my midday Popsicle bodega runs just lit up. —Julia Stevensstyle editor

Have we ever met a model of Ellen Van Dusen that we doesn’t As? While his textile brand’s towels in nearly every colorway you can think of are already stacked in my closet, the same textured terry can now be hung like a shower curtaincourtesy of Dusen Dusenthe last collaboration of Coming. I’m going to rely on the cheerful combo of yellow and this year’s It color, sage, as a quick and easy way to inject my drab, all-white (windowless) rental bathroom with some sunshine though. necessary. —Morgan Bullmanassociate business writer

Wrap yourself in pastels: New colors from Rimowa

I got really interested in luggage when we first traveled to Japan about six years ago. (If you go for it yourself, buy some from Narita and fill it with goodies, you won’t regret it!) But I wasn’t as enamored with a roll as I was with the recently advertised Rimowa new Provençal-inspired pastel shades— sunny citron and soothing lavender. I love that the handles are the same color as the case, disappearing like a magic trick when not in use. And if you’re looking for extra space to store books or headphones, there are matching bags to match. This is exactly what I want to steer on a plane this summer. Next step: anywhere. —Samantha Weiss-Hillsassociate trade editor

French photographer and always stylish Garance Doré has just launched a skincare collection as simply chic as she is. The range of three products, called Golden, includes a cleanser, a moisturizer and an all-over balm, which I have already incorporated into my routine before bedtime. And if I (oops!) leave them on my bathroom counter, the green wrapping is a welcome greeting in the morning. —Julie VadnalAssociate Editor
